Our stay at the Riu - Emerald Bay in Mazatlan, Mexico 2010

Jan 21-24, 2010 we enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Riu Emerald Bay in Mazatlan, Mexico.  We took advantage of an awesome sizzle deal offered through our travel company and lived the dream.  We enjoyed ocean view adjoining rooms with the kids.    This wonderful all-inclusive resort was warm and inviting.  Jackson particularly loved the virgin daiquiris and the many pools.  We spent all day just relaxing on the beach or by the pools enjoying cold beverages and great fellowship.

The food at the resort was wonderfully tasty with a nice variety.  The Fiesta bar was out of this world.  The kids loved the soft ice cream.  Heading to dinner you are greeted by lots of welcoming hotel staff and wonderful drinks.

Outside of the restaurant on the last night we were there, we were entertained by an ensemble playing a marimba, drums and guitar.  Jordyn was in heaven and joined in to play with the group.

Each night there was a different show and the kids spent evenings in the sports bar playing games.

The hotel is very clean and open.  The only downfall was that there wasn't an ATM machine on site and we had to go into town to get cash.  Today, that might be a mute issue.

We highly recommend this all-inclusive to family and friends.  Enjoy!
